Many also contain non-halal glycerin, animal-derived waxes, or drying alcohols.   • Haya lipsticks are alcohol-free, but like all lip products, they sit on the surface of the lips. For wudu validity, most scholars advise removing lipstick before performing wudu. Haya formulas come off cleanly with any gentle cleanser.
